Day
1: Arrive Danang, travel
to Hue
A warm welcome upon
arrival at Danang International Airport, and transfer to the cultural city of
Hue, some 100 kilometres away. Travel through the longest tunnel in SE Asia as
we burrow through the Truong Son mountains crossing from Danang into the
province of Hue. In Hue, there is some free & easy time to stroll along the
boulevards of the former capital city where dynastic emperors once ruled.

Day
2: Hue
Start the day with an
insight into Nguyen dynasty as we visit the imposing Imperial Citadel situated
on separate grounds north of the Perfume River where once ruling emperors and
officials resided. Thereafter, it’s a hop over to the biggest local market,
Dong Ba market, located at the foot of the famous Trang Tien bridge.
In the afternoon, take
to the countryside of rural Hue as we enter the scared grounds of the tombs of
former Nguyen emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh.
Discover the contrasts in the personalities and reign between the two
emperors, Minh Mang who ruled in the early dynasty, and Khai Dinh, the 2nd
last emperor of the Nguyen empire.
There is no better way
to end the day by retreating in the evening to melodious Hue traditional music
performed over a sumptuous Hue royal court delicacy fit for the kings.
Day
3: Travel to Hoi An
Bid farewell to Hue as
we travel on a scenic coastal route up winding mountains and coastal seafronts.
Be thrilled at the breathtaking panoramic view of the sea which
awaits you at the top of imposing Hai Van pass.
Arriving into Hoi An, you will have some free & easy time to explore
the streets and alleys of the lovely town, not to mention a chance at checking
out the awesome tailors who can produce anything (from suits and blouses, to
leather shoes and pouches) all within an unimaginable short time period.

4:
My Son
Travel out about 30
kilometres to My Son ruins, where it was once an important religious site of the
mighty Champa kingdom. Nestled in a
valley, amidst surrounding low lying hills, My Son tells of a impressive
civilization through the unique architecture and building prowess of a people
whose beginnings dates back to 1st and 2nd centuries AD.
More history awaits in
the afternoon as a guided tour of Hoi An will reveal the intricacies and harmony
of this trading town as we visit significant icons such as the Japanese bridge,
assembly hall, ancient house, civilization museum and watch a traditional
musical performance. Overnight in
Hoi An.
Day
5: Depart Hoi An
Transfer
to Danang international airport for departure.
